Dear ________,
I am so proud of you for following your dreams. And not worrying about the judgement of some family and friends. I urge you to continue to pursue your dreams! Living in the moment pays off big for you, it is so worth it.
Just do what you want to do. Be impulsive. Be true. Continue to seek your higher self. I like your idea of redoing clothes in a punk/class style. Make more of your own things. Money will always come and go. Don’t be risky but don’t be afraid to invest in yourself.
Looking back, your gut feeling has always been right. Don’t let your head talk your heart our of what it feels.
Meditate more, don’t worry about your body so much. Get those tattoos if they really mean something to you. Continue to be nice and sweet and giving and loving and sharing. Everythng is going to work out great! You just have to continue doing what feels right.
Work hard and save, then SPEND on travel and on your interests! PAINT! Crochet if that’s what you want. Do that kickboxing. Learn French. That’s awesome. You will be happy and proud and accomplished.
Don’t be afraid to be alone. Don’t be afraid to tell the truth. Don’t be afraid to get hurt. The fear is always worse than the pain.
Treat your sisters and brothers with respect.
Even those silly little dreams matter, and you should do them.
Talk Less, DO more!! Just like you did with your trip to Europe. (Your first trip, there will be more.) See your own country.
Paradise does exist.
If you are yourself, people will continue to be drawn to you. Explore those dark parts of yourself, loving them to light. Beautiful.
So for now, keep up your travel dreams, keep your sisters in your exciting life. Make make that money off your creations. All you have to do right now is CREATE!!!
Signed,

a letter to the present self, from future self, age 80
I – like most Americans – believe that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual the right to bear arms. I think we recognize the traditions of gun ownership passed on from generation to generation, that hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage.
But I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers and not in the hands of crooks. They belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities. […]
As we convene these conversations, let’s be clear even as we debate government’s role, we have to understand that when a child opens fire on another child, there’s a hole in that child’s heart that government alone can’t fill. It’s got to be up to us as parents, as neighbors and as teachers and as mentors to make sure our young people don’t have that void inside them. It’s up to us to spend time with them. To pay more attention to them. To show them more love and they learn to love each other and they learn to love one another and they grow up knowing what it is to walk a mile in somebody else’s shoes and to view the world in somebody else’s eyes.

Listen to my words for you
You filter em.
“What about my face?”
“It’s magnificent. I want to destroy your face with my cunt.”
“It might be the other way around.”
“Don’t bet on it. “
“You’re right. Cunts are indestructable.” —~ Charles Bukowski, Women, 1978.
